Past Life Regression – Isabel Smith
London the first time
In 1829 Isabel Smith was born. Not much is know of her early life. But one mid-morning in May 1849 Isabel found herself in London for the first time.
London 1849 was a full of activity. Karl Marx has recently relocated there from Paris. Paintings by the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood had gone on public display for the first time, and William Hamilton, an orphaned bricklayer from Ireland fired a pistol at Queen Victoria.
This is the “recollection” of Julie in her past life regression that she underwent with me. My grateful thanks to her for her permission to share her experience with you.

In the early part of the regression Julie, seeing London through the eyes of Isabel, tells of the cobbled London street, the stalls of colourful flowers and how happy she feels.
She has by this point already described herself as wearing black laced boots with a nice blue dress of heavy plain material. As yet no rings upon her fingers.
Next Memory
We then moved on to the next ‘remembered’ episode. Isabel is now 30 years old. She is married and has four children. Michael, Elsie, George and Mary. Their father is called William. Isabel described her happiness. She did not have a family until she married William.
Isabel remembers her children and husband.
Whilst the children share their father’s dark hair and eyes, Isabel sees herself reflected in a window with blue eyes and blond hair tied at the back. She is also wearing a hat. She remarks “they are OK in the sun”. I then asked Isabel what class or quality of person she was. “Upper class” – like her husband in business.
Final Episode
In the final part of Julie’s past life regression, she told me about Isabel’s imminent death from influenza aged 52 in 1881. She told me that she was in bed with bare feet in a nicely decorated room. The curtains were drawn, so she couldn’t tell what hour it was. There was a nurse present. Isabel knew this was the end. William had been in with the children to say goodbye. At this point she was a grandmother to Michael’s children.

Remembering Regression
Very often clients ask if they will remember later on what they ‘real’ during hypnosis. Some people remember very clearly, but others do not. This is why I record past life regressions at the client’s request. Also – all memories change gradually over time, so a recording provides a faithful reminder.
In this last excerpt Julie tells me what it was like to ‘go back in time’.
