What is Past Life Regression (PLR)?
Past Life Regression is a technique used by specially trained hypnotherapists to allow a client to access ‘memories’ that are usually hidden from their conscious mind. It can feel very similar to some forms of meditation. The method I use is suited especially to the “visual” type of person.
There are many ideas about what past life regression is, and that seek to explain what clients experience. But honestly, you do not need to have any belief at all. You only need to be prepared to be curious. That’s all.
Some people believe that PLR allows the client to access the “collective unconscious” – a concept introduced to psychotherapy by the brilliant Carl Jung. While other people believe that it taps into “soul memory”, or is evidence of reincarnation. Others still look to “genetic memory” as an explanation.
If you ask me what I believe, I will tell you that I believe it doesn’t matter, as long as it works. Past Life Regression has helped thousands of clients worldwide to discover their purpose in life, break repeating patterns of behaviour and even overcome allergies!

Past Life Regression – Who Were You? Emma’s Story
Emma came to visit me to experience a past life regression. She was curious to know what it was all about and whether she would ‘remember’ anything.
She was amazed by what she discovered about herself and how much the past life regression helped her to make sense of things that had plagued her for all of her adult life.
She kindly gave permission to share her experience – and this is what she had to say about it!
She was a pretty, petite, passionate woman using logic and resistance. She met obstacles and faced them head on. In her past life Emma discovered that she had been a leader. She had been a freedom fighter without aggression.
As you listen to the recording below you will hear more of her story. The regression lasted around 45 minutes, but you are hearing only those parts which can be shared without revealing too much of my client. But you can hear how clear was her recollection.
The scene that Emma described ended with her death which she chose not to experience. Yet from her post-past life perspective she had a sense of her legacy. She brought back with her memories of a strong, powerful and feminine woman and has felt many benefits arising from the experience.

Ilya of Sversk is a fictionalised account of a part life regression that actually took place, in which the client recalled living in a closed-city on Tomsk, USSR. The client only vaguely knew about closed cities, in general, he certainly had no knowledge of this once, which the world in general had not know about until 1992 because it was a secret even within the Soviet Union.
